Patna: A case of honor killing has came to light in Vaishali, Bihar. According to police officials, Couple has killed their two daughters. The case pertains to Mani Bhakurhar village of Sarai police station area. As soon as the information about the incident was received, sensation spread in the whole area. People hurriedly informed the police about this. Police said that the accused have been identified as Naresh Bhagat and Rinku Devi. He strangled his 18-year-old daughter Roshni Kumari and 16-year-old daughter Anu Kumari to death. The investigation is still going on in the matter.
After getting the information about the double murder, the local police reached the spot and took both the bodies into custody. After this sent to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. After the incident, the accused father fled from the spot. But the police took the mother into custody. He is under interrogation. It is being told that the accused father lives in Kolkata, West Bengal. Sometimes he comes home on leave. The police have laid traps at many places in search of him. Along with this, action is being taken by forming a team.
When the police started interrogating the accused mother, she accepted her crime and started crying bitterly. He told that both his daughters used to run away from home again and again. Due to this, he used to get a lot of defamation in the society. Both together explained to their daughters many times but their attitude did not change. Fed up with this, he strangled both of them to death. The police station chief told that the body has been sent for postmortem by the police. The whole matter is of honor killing. The matter is being seriously investigated.
