Owaisi Responds to Navneet Rana, Saying, “I Challenge Modi Ji – Give Us 1 Hour, We Also Want to See”

During a recent political rally in Hyderabad, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament Navneet Ravi Rana made headlines with a bold statement directed at the Owaisi brothers. Known for their prominent role in Telangana politics, Asaduddin and Akbaruddin Owaisi were the focus of Rana’s warning.

Rana suggested that without police protection, the Owaisi brothers would struggle to determine their whereabouts within just 15 seconds. This provocative assertion sparked reactions and comparisons to previous controversial remarks made by Akbaruddin Owaisi.

Kahan se aaya aur kidhar ko gaya…’
In a public meeting supporting BJP candidate K Madhavi Latha, Rana countered the younger brother’s statement about removing police for 15 minutes with a bold assertion Kahan se aaya aur kidhar ko gaya…’: ‘Remove the police for 15 seconds, and they won’t know where they came from or where they went.’ This strong remark highlights the intensity of the political atmosphere.”

The context of Rana’s statement lies in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana, where voting for all 17 seats is scheduled for May 13. Rana’s rhetoric didn’t stop there; she went on to assert that voting for the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and Congress effectively supports Pakistan, alleging a connection between these parties and Pakistan’s interests.

This isn’t the first time Rana has stirred controversy. Just last week, she made headlines by suggesting that those unwilling to say ‘Jai Shri Ram’ should consider relocating to Pakistan. Her statements, though polarizing, reflect the charged political atmosphere in India during election seasons.

In 2013, AIMIM leader and Asaduddin Owaisi’s younger brother Akbaruddin Owaisi had said, ‘If the police is withdrawn for 15 minutes, then we (Muslims) will tell who has the courage. Navneet Rana has hit back at his controversial statement. In 2014, she had contested the Lok Sabha elections on NCP ticket, but was not successful. In the 2019 general elections, Navneet Rana contested as an independent candidate and won. This time BJP has given him Lok Sabha ticket. He is an independent MP from Amravati, Maharashtra.
