BJP Unveils Manifesto for MP Polls: Free Education for Girls, Affordable Gas Cylinders, and Farmer Support

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched its manifesto for the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, featuring several promises aimed at uplifting various sections of society. Key highlights include:

Free Education for Girls: The BJP pledges to provide free education to girls from economically disadvantaged families up to the post-graduation level.

Affordable Gas Cylinders: Cooking gas cylinders will be made available at ₹450 for beneficiaries of the ‘Ladli Bahna’ and ‘PM Ujjwala’ schemes in the state.

Agricultural Support: The BJP promises to procure wheat at ₹2,700 and paddy at ₹3,100 per quintal from farmers if the party is elected to power.

The manifesto was officially released by BJP chief JP Nadda in the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and the party’s state chief VD Sharma.

Nadda emphasized the BJP’s commitment to implementing its manifesto, distinguishing the party from others that make promises during elections but fail to follow through. He highlighted the performance of the incumbent Shivraj Singh Chouhan government, citing a 14-fold increase in the state budget and a 19-fold increase in the gross state domestic product.

Chief Minister Chouhan expressed satisfaction with the BJP’s efforts to fulfill promises, such as the Ladli Laxmi Yojana introduced to address the issue of female infanticide. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia asserted that under the BJP’s leadership, Madhya Pradesh has transformed from a ‘Bimaru’ state to a ‘Bemisal’ (remarkable) state.

The BJP’s manifesto aims to address various sectors, promising significant investments in healthcare, particularly ₹20,000 crore, and ₹3,000 crore for the Adivasi community. The party envisions propelling Madhya Pradesh to new heights in every sector through these proposed initiatives.
