New Delhi: Today is a very important day for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), as it will launch its third mission to the Moon, ‘Chandrayaan-3’ at around 2.35 pm.
If this landing is successful, India will become the fourth country after America-Russia and China to achieve this great achievement. Bollywood industry is also eagerly waiting to witness this moment. After Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and veteran artist Anupam Kher also prayed for the success of Chandrayaan-3.
Anupam Kher congratulated the ISRO team
Expressing his happiness on the launch of Chandrayaan-3, Anupam Kher congratulated the scientists of ISRO. He tweeted, “India is all set for its third mission to the Moon. I wish ISRO scientists all the very best for the launch of Chandrayaan-3. Let the flag fly high. Jai Hind”.

Apart from him, Bollywood’s Anna Suniel Shetty expressed his happiness, writing, “The excitement level is reaching the moon. I am sending virtual best wishes to Chandrayaan 3 for their upcoming mission. To see India’s technology scale new heights.” I can’t wait any longer. May this journey be smooth, discoveries be brilliant and success be amazing, the pride of Indians”.

Akshay Kumar recently responded to his previous tweet during the time of Chandrayaan 2, and wrote , “And the time has come to rise! Great luck to all our scientists at @isro for Chandrayaan 3. A billion hearts are praying for you.”
During the Chandrayaan 2 in 2019 Akshay Kumar wrote, “There’s no science without experiment…sometimes we succeed, sometimes we learn. Salute to the brilliant minds of @isro, we are proud and confident Chandrayaan 2 will make way for Chandrayaan 3 soon. We will rise again.”

Apart from Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Suniel Shetty, Ajay Devgn wished the entire team of ISRO on the launch of Chandrayaan 3 and tweeted, “Today, everyone’s eyes are fixed on the TV and the sky, because our country ISRO stands on the verge of achieving another historic milestone. Many many congratulations to the great men and women of ISRO, our prayers are with you”.
Chandrayaan 2 was unfortunately unable to accomplish the intended soft landing on the moon surface.
In 2019, Akshay Kumar appeared in the movie Mission Mangal, which drew inspiration from the experiences of scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) involved in India’s first Mars Orbiter Mission. Akshay portrayed the role of the mission director in the film which also had Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Sanjay Kapoor, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, and several others.
