Prayagraj: A new CCTV video of the bombing incident has surfaced in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Bombs were hurled one after the other targeting the BJP leader’s son in Awas Vikas Colony Yojana-3 on Thursday night. In which he narrowly survived. This incident spread panic in the entire colony. The police went to the spot as soon as they got the information about the incident, by then the attackers had turned nine or eleven.
Vijayalakshmi Chandel, a resident of Thanapur of Saraiinayat police station, is on the post of Prayagraj General Secretary in BJP. His son Vidhan Singh had gone to meet his aunt’s boy living in Jhunsi’s Housing Development Colony Yojana-3 with a friend in a safari car on Thursday night.
At the same time, four youths came riding on two bikes, whose faces were covered with cloth. Two bombs were thrown one after the other targeting the Safari car. Vidhan Singh narrowly escaped but due to the explosion of the bomb, panic spread in the colony.
Name of the son of BJP’s woman leader is Vidhan Singh. His age is 20 years. Vidhan Singh had gone to his aunt’s house on Thursday at around 8 pm. Then 6 youths came there riding on 2 bikes and threw bombs at the car. According to the allegation, Shivam Yadav, son of constable Shiv Bachan Yadav, posted in Kaushambi, was also involved in the incident.
People informed the local police about this, the police reached the spot and tried to identify the attackers through CC footage, but did not get success yet. At present, on the complaint of Vidhan Singh, the police have registered a report against the unknown assailants and started investigating.
