The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has unveiled the results for the ICSE (Class 10th) and ISC (Class 12th) examinations for the year 2024. Students can access their results on the official CISCE website, CISCE.in, as well as results.cisce.org and cisce.org.
This year’s results bring a wave of success, with an impressive pass percentage of 99.47 for ICSE (Class 10th) and 98.19 for ISC (Class 12th). The examinations, which commenced in February and concluded in April, saw a total of 2,43,617 students participating in the ICSE (Class 10th) exam, and 99,901 students appearing for the ISC (Class 12th) board exam.
Girls have outshone boys in both ICSE and ISC examinations. In the ICSE (Class 10th) category, the pass percentage for girls stands at 99.65, surpassing the 99.31 percent achieved by boys. Similarly, in ISC (Class 12th), girls secured a higher pass percentage of 98.92 compared to boys at 97.53 percent.
The detailed breakdown of participants showcases 53.57 percent boys and 46.43 percent girls in the ICSE (Class 10th) examination, while in ISC (Class 12th), 52.82 percent were boys and 47.18 percent were girls. Among those who passed the ISC (Class 12th) examination, 51,462 were boys, and 46,626 were girls, with 1.81 percent of students failing to clear the exam.
The examination period, originally scheduled from February 21st to April 3rd, saw slight alterations due to unforeseen circumstances. Two papers were rescheduled, with the Class 12 Chemistry paper postponed to March 21st from its initial date of February 26th.
