CM Khattar-led Haryana govt plans to collocate 200 employment fairs this year

On Saturday, the Khattar government of the state is making every possible effort in this direction to create more and more employment opportunities for the youth in Haryana. While interacting with the youth yesterday under a special discussion program from New Delhi, CM Manohar Lal said that providing new employment opportunities is a proof of the government's commitment.

Chandigarh: On Saturday, the Khattar government of the state is making every possible effort in this direction to create more and more employment opportunities for the youth in Haryana. While interacting with the youth yesterday under a special discussion program from New Delhi, CM Manohar Lal said that providing new employment opportunities is a proof of the government’s commitment.

During ‘CM Ki Vishesh Charcha’ event, Manohar Lal spoke through a conference to youngsters who have found employment through job fairs. Wishing for a bright future he said that since January 2019 till now, 1450 employment fairs have been organized, in which 31 thousand 217 youth were provided employment assistance.

He made his announcement official in an event where he announced that this year 200 job fairs will be organised. He said 1.14 lakh jobs have been provided and 56,000 more government jobs will be provided to the youth.

Khattar stated that the present government will work to provide 1.70 lakh jobs and added that in addition to this, efforts will be taken to ensure employment for two lakh youngster. According to CM, the BJP-led state government has offered more than one lakh government jobs on merit basis with complete transparency. Under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, 24 lakh 43 thousand youth have been given financial assistance to set up self-employment, he said.

He further added that benefits have also been provided under various schemes to establish employment and self-employment options in the private sector. He said that the Haryana Skill Development Mission had benefited more than 80,000 youths. According to Khattar, the Shri Vishwakarma Skill University has also been formed to provide youth with training and education to impart training and industrial-oriented education.

CM Khattar said that as per the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new National Education Policy has been implemented to make the youth employable, capable of character and inculcating moral qualities in them. To achieve the basic objective of the new education policy, education from school to university has been linked to skills. He said that by the year 2030, every youth of the state should become skilled and financially prosperous. Haryana is continuously striving to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations by the year 2030.
