DAC approves proposal to buy 26 Rafale aircraft, 3 Scorpene Submarines ahead of PM’s France visit

India has made a big deal before PM Modi's visit to France. India is going to buy 26 Rafale aircraft and three Scorpene submarines. The Defense Acquisition Council (DAC) has approved the deal. The DAC has approved proposals for procurement of 26 Rafale fighter jets comprising 22 Rafale MS and 4 twin seater trainer versions.

New Delhi: India’s power is going to increase further. A big defense deal has happened just before PM Modi’s visit to France. India will buy 26 Rafale aircraft and three Scorpene submarines from France. The Defense Acquisition Council (DAC) has approved this deal for the Indian Navy.

According to the news agency, the DAC approved the purchase of Rafale fighter jets along with three additional Scorpene class submarines. The DAC has approved proposals for procurement of 26 Rafale fighter jets comprising 22 Rafale MS and 4 twin seater trainer versions.

90 Thousand crore deal
It is being told that a deal worth Rs 90 thousand crore has been signed between India and France. The proposals for this deal have already been discussed in high-level meetings in the Defense Ministry. It was placed before the DAC, where the deal was approved.

PM Modi on France tour

Significantly, PM Modi has left for France tour. PM Modi will be on a tour of France on 13-14 July. PM will visit UAE after France. PM is visiting France at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron. The PM will participate in the Bastille Day celebrations here as the chief guest. He will also hold productive discussions with Macron and other French dignitaries. Apart from this, he will also hold discussions with Indian expatriates, executives of Indian and French companies.
