New Delhi: Police said that Four minors allegedly brutally stabbed a 35-year-old man, who had criminal cases registered against him, to death in Jafrabad area of north-east Delhi. The victim has been identified as Nazir alias Nanhe.
Police added that all the four attackers have been arrested. The incident happened around 6.45 pm on Sunday, the video of which has also surfaced on social media in which four minors can be seen attacking Nazir while he was pleading for help from passersby.
After the incident, Locals who witnessed the attack gathered at the spot and informed the police. Police said Nazir was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead. They said Nazir was stabbed around 50 times.
Joy Tirkey, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) said a team from the Jagradabad police station on Monday arrested four teenagers in connection with the case. He also said,”Nazir was first involved in many cases of robbery and was tried to murder. The attackers have revealed that they killed Nazir because two days ago, Nazir threatened one of them.”
When the teenagers attacked him near Mangal Hospital Wali Gali, Chauhan Bangar, Jaffarabad, Nazir was travelling on a scooty. He said the teenagers were produced before a juvenile court and statements of family members and other eyewitnesses were recorded.
