New Delhi: In yet another tragic incident, A teenager was allegedly shot dead at an illegally run hookah bar in South-East Delhi’s Govindpuri area on Saturday (May 6). His age is being told as 17 years. One person has been injured in the incident. Police investigation has revealed that when the incident took place, the birthday party was going on in the hookah bar. Most of the people involved in the party were minors.
Initial investigation has revealed that local miscreants carried out the incident. The boy who died was shot in the head. Immediately after the incident, he was brought to Delhi AIIMS, where doctors declared him brought dead.
According to sources, a PCR call was received at Kalkaji police station at 3.15 a.m. regarding the incident. Police reached the building located in Govindpuri Extension where hookah bar was running secretly on the first floor. According to the police, the hookah bar was closed on April 1 but continued to operate illegally.
Blood stains on the floor
According to the media report, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police immediately reached the place of incident. Police found where the shooting took place. Blood stains were seen scattered on the floor there. Some belongings were also scattered in the mutual fight. It is being told that where the firing took place. That hookah bar was closed only on April 1 last month.
Doctors declared dead on reaching AIIMS
Hearing the incident of firing in the closed Hukkabar, the people around went and saw that a boy was lying on the ground in an injured state. The local people took him to AIIMS. Where the doctors declared him dead. Police investigation revealed that the 17-year-old girl who died due to bullet injuries. His name is Kunal. He has been shot on the head. Along with this, the boy who has been shot in the leg. His name is Rahul.
According to police, preliminary investigation revealed that a birthday party was being celebrated at the hookah bar. Most of the people involved in this were juveniles. The involvement of local miscreants has come to light in the investigation. A minor accused has been identified. According to the police, further investigation is being done.
