Due to air pollution Delhi University advances winter break now from November 13 to 19

New Delhi: The Delhi University (DU) has announced an advance winter break from November 13 to 19 due to air pollution. A notification in this regard has been issued on Friday, November 10. According to the notification, DU has announced an early winter vacation from November 13 to 19.

New Delhi: On Friday, Due to increasing air pollution in Delhi, the Delhi University (DU) has announced an advanced winter break from November 13 to 19 due to air pollution. A notification in this regard has been issued on Friday.

In the notification, Delhi University has asked all its colleges and institutes to declare winter vacation. The winter break, which is usually given in December, has been revised keeping in mind the GRAP-IV measures being implemented amid the prevailing air pollution in Delhi.

All colleges and institutes of the university have been asked to declare the winter break. Usually, the university announced the winter break in December. However, all the pre-scheduled exams and interviews will be conducted without any change.

Meanwhile, the Delhi government has also suspended all other physical classes, except classes 10 and 12, till November 10. At the same time, the state government has announced an early winter vacation for schools from November 9 to 18 due to severe air pollution in Delhi. Apart from this, all schools in Faridabad, Gurugram and Noida have also suspended physical classes due to poor AQI and asked schools to conduct online classes.
