The comprehensive initiative, titled 'Sampark Smart Shala Smart Block,' is aimed at upgrading 120 government primary schools, providing enhanced facilities surpassing those of private schools.
Gautam Budh Nagar MLA Pankaj Singh recently launched a groundbreaking initiative to transform government primary schools into smart schools, with Bisrakh Government Primary School in Greater Noida set to be the pioneer in this innovative program.
The ‘Sampark Smart Shala Smart Block’ is a comprehensive effort that aims to upgrade 120 government primary schools with better facilities than private schools. This effort is expected to assist up to 18,000 students, with the main objective being a 30% improvement in learning outcomes in the first year.
The launch event took place at the prestigious Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra in Noida, where MLA Pankaj Singh also distributed television sets to principals of five schools. Emphasizing the transformative potential of the program, Singh expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am very pleased to have such a large-scale innovative program in our district. I am sure the Sampark Foundation, given their expertise and dedication, will make it a success, and the children of Bisrakh would immensely benefit from it.”
District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma highlighted the positive impact on the teaching and learning process, making it more enjoyable for students and enhancing the capabilities of teachers. He affirmed the district administration’s full support for the education department and Sampark Foundation to ensure the success and expansion of this program in the district.
“We hope to convert government schools into smart schools, one smart block at a time,” said Vineet Nayar, founder and chairman of Sampark Foundation. “We have committed a 40 crore investment in Uttar Pradesh for this initiative with the hope of touching the lives of 2.8 million children.”
