Warsaw: The incident of firing has come to light in Poznan city of Poland. Police say two people have been killed in the shooting in Poznan. Police said that the shooting took place at a restaurant in the city, in which two people have died.
Police issued a statement on the incident
Poznan police spokesman Andrzej Borowiak said the incident happened on Sunday at the Hotel Restaurant Garden, located near St. Martin’s Street in Poznan Old Town, a popular tourist spot.
Two people died in firing
Borowiak said that one of the two people died at the scene, while the other died at the hospital. They were residents of Poznan, whose age is said to be 30 and 31 years. He said the police are sure that one person is responsible for the incident and efforts are on to ascertain what was the connection between the two.
Police engaged in investigation of the case
At the same time, the local newspaper quoted eyewitnesses as saying that one person shot another and then shot himself. However, the newspaper did not identify the witnesses. Presently the police is probing the matter.
