Batting first after losing the toss, Chennai scored 172/7 in 20 overs. Chasing this target in reply, the Gujarat team got all out for 157 runs in 20 overs.
Shubman Gill, the centurion of the last match, scored the maximum 42 runs for Gujarat. At the same time, Rashid Khan also came in the end and made some big shots and contributed 30 runs in 16 balls. On the other hand, Deepak Chahar, Tushar Deshpande, Mahish Theekshana and Ravindra Jadeja all got 2-2 wickets from Chennai side.
