In the midst of the chaos, a shocking moment occurred when one of the patient’s relatives brandished a revolver and aimed it at the doctors. The hospital administration promptly alerted the police about the escalating situation.

According to DSP Sushil Kumar, the police quickly intervened to pacify the situation. The hospital’s security supervisor filed a written complaint, identifying the individual wielding the revolver as Indrabhan Singh. Singh, son of Laln Singh from Professor Colony Ward-19, Ara, Bhojpur district, was taken into custody, and the revolver, cartridges, and mobile phone were seized.

Patna SSP confirmed the registration of an FIR regarding the IGIMS incident. The arrest of Indrabhan Singh highlights the severity of the confrontation in a government hospital. The incident underscores the increasing tensions in healthcare settings and the need for effective measures to ensure the safety of both medical professionals and patients.
