New Delhi: Delhi Police has arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar in the case of assault on AAP MP Swati Maliwal. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar has been arrested by the Delhi Police today after being taken into custody in connection with the alleged assault on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Swati Maliwal. Delhi Police team has brought Bibhav Kumar to Civil Lines police station for questioning.
After the arrest of Bibhav Kumar, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha has also reached Civil Lines police station. However, Bibhav Kumar’s lawyer Karan Sharma said that we have not received any information from the police yet. We have sent them an e-mail that we will cooperate in the investigation. The lawyer said that the police has not yet given us a copy of the FIR.
According to source report, a senior police officer said that Bibhav Kumar was detained by a Delhi Police team from the Chief Minister’s residence around noon. He has been taken to the police station for questioning.
Swati had accused of assault in CM House
According to the information, Swati Maliwal had accused Bibhav Kumar of assaulting her inside the CM House on May 13. On Swati’s complaint, Delhi Police had on Thursday registered a named FIR against accused Bibhav Kumar in this regard. Since then, many teams of Delhi Police were searching for Bibhav Kumar.

In the FIR lodged by AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Bibhav Kumar, many very serious and sensational allegations have been made. According to the Delhi Police FIR, Bibhav Kumar allegedly kicked and slapped Swati Maliwal several times. Swati Maliwal has also accused Bibhav of threatening to kill her.
