IMD alert heat wave in Delhi-NCR even today, hope of relief from scorching heat after May 23

New Delhi: The heat wave continues in Delhi-NCR. This torture can continue for three days (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday). After this, there are chances of getting relief from Tuesday night. Although the temperature will definitely rise in these three days.

However, due to the activation of Western Disturbance, the sky will remain partly cloudy on Sunday. Wind can blow at a speed of 25 to 35 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperature is expected to be 42 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 24 degree Celsius.

The temperature is expected to be 41 degree Celsius on Monday and Tuesday but light rain may occur in some areas of Delhi on Tuesday night. After this, there is a possibility of light rain for three days. This may cause a drop in temperature.

On Saturday, the temperature in many places in Delhi reached above 42 degrees, while the mercury crossed 43 degrees in Najafgarh area. The maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 40.4 degree Celsius, which is normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 23.2 degrees Celsius, a drop of three degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, heatwave conditions will prevail in the areas of South Uttar Pradesh from May 20 to May 22. Apart from this, people may have to face heatwave on 20 and 21 May in parts of West Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, heatwave conditions will be seen in North Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand from May 21 to 23.
