IMD issues heavy rain alert in many parts of the country for next 4-5 days

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in most parts of the country. A similar situation is expected to prevail in the whole country for the next four-five days. The Meteorological Department advised the farmers to wait to avoid the problem of water logging in their crops.

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in most parts of the country. A similar situation is expected to prevail in the whole country for the next four-five days. The Meteorological Department advised the farmers to wait to avoid the problem of water logging in their crops. It was said by the Meteorological Department that now the monsoon has become very active in the country.

Monsoon is going to be very active in the Central-Eastern, North-Western and Western parts of India. The effect of the monsoon moving from the south-west will be seen in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and other parts located in the western part of the Himalayas.

In the press release issued by the Meteorological Department, it was said that it is moving in the North Arabian Sea, not the South-West. Due to this, monsoon can reach the remaining parts of Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir. During the next two days, the south-west monsoon will continue to advance in the same way, due to which more and more areas associated with these parts will receive rain.

According to the information, It has been said for eastern and north-eastern India that there may be light to moderate rains at most places for the next five days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Odisha on Monday. Some similar rains are expected in the Ghat region of Konkan, Goa, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh from June 26 to 30.

The Meteorological Department has also issued an advisory for the farmers, stating that Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar-Pradesh, Rajasthan, areas near the Ganges River in West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Farmers living in the coastal region of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, North-East should make arrangements in advance to protect their crops from the situation of excessive water filling. Due to heavy rains here, they may have to face problems due to accumulation of water in the crops.
