IMD issues rain alert in these states including Delhi-UP today

New Delhi: The Meteorological Department has predicted the sky will be cloudy on Sunday in Delhi. Very light rain or drizzle may occur in some areas. The Meteorological Department says that on July 31, rain can be seen in many districts of eastern UP and in some districts of western UP.

New Delhi: The Meteorological Department has predicted the sky will be cloudy on Sunday in Delhi. Very light rain or drizzle may occur in some areas. After this there is no possibility of rain for two days. Light rain is expected from Wednesday to Friday in the next week.

According to the Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours. Delhi has received 15.4 mm of rainfall. During this period, Ridge Area, Delhi University, Pitampura, Najafgarh, Mungeshpur, Jafarpur and Pusa received more rainfall.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain in Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of lightning accompanied by thunder in many districts of UP like Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Fatehpur and Sonbhadra on Sunday. At the same time, lightning can also fall in Chandauli, Varanasi, Bhadohi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Santakbir Nagar.

The Meteorological Department says that on July 31, rain can be seen in many districts of eastern UP and in some districts of western UP. On the other hand, on August 1, many districts of western UP and almost all the districts of eastern UP will see rain with thunder.According to the Indian Meteorological Department based in Patna, due to the cyclonic circulation in Bihar, there is a possibility of good rains for the next 5 days.

The Meteorological Department said that due to cyclonic circulation, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at one or two places in the state. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at many places in West Champaran, East Champaran, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad and Sitamarhi districts during next 24 hours.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of thunderclap along with thunder in most parts of the state. Yellow alert has also been issued in the state regarding this. Let us tell you that there is a possibility of good rain in Bihar till 3rd August.

According to IMD, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura and Manipur are likely to see rain for the next few days.

Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 31.6 degrees Celsius on Saturday, which is three notches below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal. The day before, the maximum temperature was 34.3 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was 26.6 degree Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi has received a total of 384.6 mm of rainfall so far this month, which is almost double the normal (196.9).
