New Delhi: There is a steady rise in the cases of corona in the country. Today again more than 6000 new cases have come to light. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, 6,155 new cases of Kovid-19 infection were found in India on Saturday, while the number of active cases has increased to 31,194.
According to the official data of the Ministry of Health, the total number of corona cases in the country has now reached 4.47 crore (4,47,51,259). At the same time, the death toll rose to 5,30,954 with 11 deaths on the previous day, including two from Kerala as per the 8 am update.
There has been a continuous increase in the active cases of Corona for the past several days. According to today’s latest figures, active cases have gone up to 31,194. Active cases comprise 0.07 per cent of the total infections. According to the website of the ministry, 220.66 crore doses of Kovid-19 vaccine have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
Talking about those recovering from Corona, its number has also increased to 4,41,89,111, while the death rate was recorded at 1.19 percent. According to the Health Ministry, the recovery rate for COVID-19 is 98.74 per cent. With the ever-increasing cases of corona, death cases have also come to the fore in Maharashtra, Delhi and Kerala.
