New Delhi: In a recent survey measuring the popularity of Chief Ministers across India, Tripura’s Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has secured the prestigious fifth position. The survey, aimed at assessing the acceptability of leaders, disclosed intriguing results showcasing the approval ratings of various Chief Ministers.
According to the survey, Odisha’s Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik claimed the top spot with an impressive popularity rating of 52.7 percent. Uttar Pradesh’s Yogi Adityanath closely followed with a rating of 51.3 percent, securing the second position. Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma ranked third with a 48.6 percent rating, and Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held the fourth position with a 42.6 percent rating.
Tripura’s Chief Minister, Dr Manik Saha, earned a commendable popularity rating of 41.4 percent, marking his significant acceptance and approval among the citizens of Tripura and beyond. The survey results sparked praise for Chief Minister Saha’s simplicity, dedication, and honesty, along with the developmental strides witnessed under his leadership.
Residents of Tripura praised Chief Minister Saha for his grassroots-level engagement, compassionate leadership, and commitment to the well-being and progress of the people. Shopkeepers, businessmen, retired government employees, social activists, and various individuals expressed their gratitude for the positive impact witnessed in the state’s development.
A shopkeeper emphasized Chief Minister Saha’s honesty and grassroots-level work, while a businessman acknowledged the positive impact on Tripura’s development. Residents and leaders highlighted Chief Minister Saha’s continuous efforts for the welfare of all classes, especially tribal communities.
The survey also revealed the positive sentiments regarding Chief Minister Saha’s contributions to infrastructure development in Tripura. Individuals commended his focus on developmental projects and noted a substantial boost in infrastructure under his leadership.
Manik Saha, a dentist-turned-politician, assumed the role of Chief Minister of Tripura for the second consecutive term in March 2023. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he led the party to victory and has been recognized for his dedication to the state’s progress. Saha’s leadership is characterized by simplicity, active engagement, and a commitment to grassroots development, earning him widespread support in Tripura.
