Something similar happened at Wankhede Stadium on Monday also. A video is going viral on social media, in which wherever Hardik is going on the field, fans are raising slogans of ‘Rohit-Rohit’ in front of him. After this Rohit asks the fans not to do this. In the viral video, Rohit is asking the spectators at Wankhede Stadium to stop booing the new captain Hardik.
Earlier, when Hardik reached the field for the toss against Rajasthan, even at that time the spectators present there were teasing him in the name of Rohit. After this, even during the 10th over of Rajasthan’s innings, when Rohit was fielding on the boundary, the spectators started teasing Hardik by calling him ‘Rohit-Rohit’. Seeing this happening, Rohit gestured with his hand and signaled the people present in the field to remain calm. Captain Hardik had to face booing from the audience in the earlier match also.

Under the captaincy of Hardik, Mumbai Indians have suffered their third consecutive defeat in IPL 2024 and are still looking for their first win in this season. Mumbai Indians team is currently at the bottom 10th position in the points table. Even in the match against Rajasthan, Mumbai’s batting was a complete flop and the team could score only 125 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Three Mumbai batsmen including former captain Rohit could not even open their account in this match.
