J-K: One killed and 6 injured after BSF vehicle plunges into gorge in Poonch

New Delhi: A Border Security Force (BSF) vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, killing a jawan and injuring six others. A police officer gave this information. According to the information, the injured jawans have been admitted to the nearest army medical camp where the condition of 4 jawans is said to be critical.

New Delhi: A Border Security Force (BSF) vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, killing a jawan and injuring six others. A police officer gave this information.

According to the information, the injured jawans have been admitted to the nearest army medical camp where the condition of 4 jawans is said to be critical. BSF told on this accident that one BSF jawan was killed and six others were injured when a BSF vehicle met with an accident in Mankote sector of Poonch district.

According to local media, a vehicle of the Border Security Force fell into a 250 feet deep gorge near Jirat Takian Sharif. The vehicle was completely damaged in this accident. A police official said the accident took place in Balnoi area of ​​Mendhar when the driver of the BSF vehicle lost control at a turn on the hilly road

After this the police was informed about the incident and from there the police along with the local people rescued the jawans. The jawans were rushed to the nearby army hospital and the doctors declared one jawan brought dead.
