Jammu and Kashmir: On Thursday, an official said that At least four people are dead and several injured after the vehicle they were travelling in rolled down a deep gorge at Zojila Pass in Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir: On Thursday, an official said that At least four people are dead and several injured after the vehicle they were travelling in rolled down a deep gorge at Zojila Pass in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

After receiving information about the accident, the army, police, and local residents reached the site to launch a rescue operation. The official said that in the incident 4 persons are feared dead and several injured.

Giving information about this incident, officials said that the ill-fated vehicle – Zylo bearing registration number JK07-1876 – was en route from Kargil to Sonamarg when it skidded off the road near Panimatha Zojila.

All the deceased are reported to be residents of Kargil, and their identification is yet to be confirmed. The injured people being treated at a hospital. Earlier on Tuesday, four men from Kerala died after their cab fell into a ravine near Zojila Pass.
