Lok sabha election 2024: Re-elections held today at these 4 polling booths in betul

Betul: Re-polling has started at four polling booths in Betul, Madhya Pradesh. Voting started at 7 am. These four polling booths are of Multai assembly constituency. There are 3 thousand 37 voters at these polling booths. People of village Rajapur, Dudar Rayyat, Gehunbarsa, Kunda Rayyat and Chikhlimal village are voting again at these polling booths. These people will be able to vote till 6 pm.

Betul: Re-polling has started at four polling booths in Betul, Madhya Pradesh. Voting started at 7 am. These four polling booths are of Multai assembly constituency. There are 3 thousand 37 voters at these polling booths. People of village Rajapur, Dudar Rayyat, Gehunbarsa, Kunda Rayyat and Chikhlimal village are voting again at these polling booths. These people will be able to vote till 6 pm.

Let us tell you, for the first time in the history of Lok Sabha elections in Betul, ink will be applied on the middle finger of the left hand. Because, in the voting held on May 7, ink has already been applied on the index finger of the voters.

Actually, on the night of 7 May, a bus carrying polling personnel caught fire in Betul. In this fire, some EVM machines along with the bus were destroyed. After this, the Returning Officer of Betul informed the Chief Electoral Officer about this incident.

After the information of EVM malfunction, the Election Commission issued a notification to conduct re-polling at four polling booths. According to the information, this incident happened on the night of 7 May, when after election duty, all the polling personnel boarded the bus from the polling booths with their respective material.

Voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections took place on 7 May. Voting took place on 9 seats of Madhya Pradesh in the third phase. People of Gwalior, Guna, Bhind, Morena, Bhopal, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Sagar and Betul locked the future of leaders in EVMs. In Betul, BJP candidate Durgadas Uikey is pitted against Congress candidate Ramu Tekam.
