Lok Sabha Elections 2024: PM Modi Declares Confidence in BJP-NDA Victory in Mirzapur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched his campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur. Speaking to the public, he expressed confidence that the country is set to elect a BJP-NDA government for the third time. Modi emphasized that while the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress focus on vote banks, his dedication lies with the rights of the backward and poor communities.

PM Modi Declares Confidence in BJP-NDA Victory in Mirzapur

During his address in Mirzapur, PM Modi declared, “On June 4, ‘phir ek baar Modi sarkar’.” He noted that the public has reaffirmed their support for the BJP across six phases of polling, recognizing the BJP-NDA’s good intentions and policies. Modi accused the opposition INDI alliance of being communal and casteist, stating, “INDI alliance says it will have five PMs in five years. Can such PMs strengthen the country?” He contrasted this by saying that SP and Congress are dedicated to vote banks, whereas he is dedicated to the rights of the poor, Dalits, and backward classes.

Criticism of the Opposition
PM Modi labeled the opposition INDI bloc as communal and casteist, claiming they plan to change the Constitution to provide reservations for Muslims. He accused the SP-Congress of focusing solely on vote banks, while he is committed to the rights of the backward and poor. Addressing the rally in support of NDA alliance partner Apna Dal’s candidate Anupriya Patel from the Mirzapur Lok Sabha seat and Rinki Kol from the Robertsganj Lok Sabha seat, he stated, “People of the country have identified the INDI alliance. These people are staunchly communal, casteist, and dynastic.”

Focus on Uttar Pradesh
PM Modi highlighted the political savvy of Uttar Pradesh’s electorate, stating, “People of Uttar Pradesh understand politics. Any intelligent person would never invest in a party that is already falling. Who will vote for them?” He reiterated that the public recognizes the communal, casteist, and dynastic nature of the INDI alliance.
