New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah cornered the opposition over his fake video and said that this action is a reflection of their frustration and disappointment. An Assam Congress functionary was arrested on Monday for allegedly sharing a “fake video” of Amit Shah. The arrested Guwahati resident Ritam Singh, 31, is associated with Assam Congress and works as the ‘War Room Coordinator’ of the party.

Launching a scathing attack on the opposition, especially the Congress, Shah said, “Their (Congress) desperation has reached such a level that they have spread fake videos of me and many other BJP leaders. Chief Ministers, State Presidents and others have also done the same.” The work of promoting this fake video…Today a criminal case is going on against a prominent leader of the Congress Party.”

He said that “This action is indicative of his frustration and disappointment. Ever since Rahul Gandhi took charge of the Congress, he has been working to take the level of politics to new lows… I believe That an attempt is being made to gain public support by running fake propaganda.” The video is condemnable and should never be done by any major party in Indian politics..”
