Ahmedabad: In the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting is taking place in all 25 seats of Gujarat except Surat. BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal has already won the election unopposed from Surat seat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast his vote in Ahmedabad. During this, Home Minister Amit Shah was also present along with PM Modi.
PM Narendra Modi went straight to Nishan Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad to cast his vote from Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Here Home Minister Modi welcomed PM Modi. After this Modi went to the polling booth and voted. Amit Shah is trying his luck for the second time from Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat.
After voting, PM Modi greeted the people. Also showed the ink on his finger. After this, PM Modi appealed to the people to vote. Modi said, “I always cast my vote here. Amit Bhai is the BJP candidate from here and is contesting the elections. Donation has special importance in our country and in this spirit the countrymen should vote as much as possible. If it is summer, take care of your health. Drink plenty of water.”
Elderly woman tied Rakhi to Modi
When PM Modi was greeting the people present there after casting his vote. Then an elderly woman came forward and tied Rakhi on the wrist of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
PM Modi took the child in his lap
While PM Modi was talking to those present at the booth, a woman was standing with her child in her lap. Modi took the child in his lap and caressed it.
Devarsh Pandya, who presented his sketch to PM Modi, said, “I asked PM Modi how the drawing was.” He said it is good. I made this last night. Prime Minister Modi has also signed it. Another girl, who presented a sketch to the PM, said, “I have drawn it myself.” PM Modi saw my sketch, asked for a pen and gave me an autograph. I am very happy.”
Siya Patel also presented her photograph to PM Modi. Siya Patel shared the experience of this moment. She says, “I asked for Prime Minister Modi’s autograph. I was waiting for this day. I can’t explain it in words. He just gave me an autograph. I’ve been waiting for this day since I made the portrait. I can’t explain it in words. It was a wonderful experience.”
