In the video, he spoke passionately about his connection with the city and how his relationship with the River Ganga has evolved over the years.

PM Modi expressed, “When I first came to Kashi in 2014, I felt like I was being called by ‘Ma Ganga’ (Mother Ganga). But today, after 10 years, I can say that ‘Today, Ma Ganga has adopted me.'”

He continued, “Over the past decade, my bond with Kashi has only grown stronger, and now I consider it ‘my Kashi’. I feel a special mother-son bond with the city.”

PM Modi emphasized that while democracy requires seeking the blessings of the people, his relationship with Kashi is unique and holds a special place in his heart.

This nomination marks PM Modi’s third consecutive attempt to represent Varanasi in the Lok Sabha. The people’s overwhelming support was evident during his vibrant roadshow in Varanasi, where he vowed to continue serving the holy city with dedication.

Surrounded by enthusiastic supporters from various communities, PM Modi’s roadshow traversed six kilometers, culminating in prayers at the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

Sharing the highlights of his roadshow, PM Modi remarked, “Kashi holds a special place… The warmth and affection of the people here is truly incredible.”

As PM Modi prepares to file his nomination papers, his emotional connection with Varanasi and the River Ganga resonates deeply, reflecting his commitment to serving the people with unwavering dedication.
