Madhya Pradesh: In a tragic incident during the Holi celebrations at Madhya Pradesh’s Mahakal Temple in Ujjain, a fire erupted in the ‘garbhagriha’, leaving 13 individuals injured, including priests. The mishap took place during the ‘bhasma aarti’ on Monday morning, with the injured promptly taken to the District Hospital for treatment.

Fire Breaks Out During Holi Celebrations at Mahakal Temple. According to reports, the fire, triggered by gulaal, quickly spread within the temple premises, causing injuries to priests and attendees. Notably, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s son and daughter narrowly escaped the accident, being present nearby during the incident.
