Madhya Pradesh: In a tragic incident during the Holi celebrations at Madhya Pradesh’s Mahakal Temple in Ujjain, a fire erupted in the ‘garbhagriha’, leaving 13 individuals injured, including priests. The mishap took place during the ‘bhasma aarti’ on Monday morning, with the injured promptly taken to the District Hospital for treatment.

Notably, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s son and daughter narrowly escaped the accident, being present nearby during the incident.

Among those injured were notable figures like Chief Priest Sanjay Guru, along with Vikas Pujari, Manoj Pujari, Ansh Purohit, Mahesh Sharma, and Chintaman Gehlot, among others. Prompt action followed as Union Home Minister Amit Shah personally contacted Chief Minister Yadav to ensure necessary assistance and treatment for the injured.
