Maharashtra: Hoax bomb threat call in Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express, train halted in UP for 4 hrs

Mirzapur: Purushottam Express train was stopped at Chunar railway station on information about bomb. The entire station was sealed, banning the movement of passengers. GRP, RPF and bomb disposal squad surrounded the entire train and started checking. The train was stopped at the platform from 6.30 am.

Mirzapur: Purushottam Express train was stopped at Chunar railway station on information about bomb. The entire station was sealed, banning the movement of passengers. GRP, RPF and bomb disposal squad surrounded the entire train and started checking.

The fire department and ambulance team were present on the spot. The District Magistrate also reached Chunar railway station.Purushottam Express train was going from Puri to Delhi. The train was checked for about 4 hours but nothing was found in it. After this the train was dispatched.

There was panic in the railway department as soon as the information about the bombing of Purushottam Express in Mirzapur was received on Sunday. An intensive checking operation was carried out by stopping the train going from Puri to New Delhi at Chunar station.

The guard had given the information about the bomb on the walkie-talkie to the Dagmagpur station master. Which Ajit Kumar further said to give to the control room. Guard Ajit Kumar of MJ 165, running on the rail track between Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Railway Station and New Delhi, heard the sound of a bomb in the engine of train number 12801 Purushottam Express at the rest stop.

On this, Ajit informed the Dagmagpur station master. Which he passed the message to reach the control room. In which it was being said that the train would be blown up on moving ahead of Jhingura station. The train was stopped at Chunar just before Jhingura station. Intensive checking of the train was done with police, railway security personnel, dog squad and bomb disposal squad. The officers also reached the spot.

North Central Railway PRO Dr. Amit Malviya told that after the message received on walkie-talkie, the train has been stopped for security reasons. The train had reached the station, the investigation is still going on.

At Chunar Junction, the police is engaged in a rapid investigation campaign. SP City said that six bogies have been checked so far. In which no suspicious substance has been found so far. The entire train has been sent after nothing was found in 4 hours of checking.
