Mukesh Ambani and his son visited Somnath Mahadev, donated Rs 1.5 crore to temple trust

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani visited Mahadev at Somnath Mahadev Temple in Gujarat on the occasion of Mahashivratri. Reliance Jio’s chairman and his son Akash Ambani were also present with him. Mukesh Ambani donated Rs 1.51 crore to the Somnath Temple Trust. Temple Trust President and Secretary P.K. Lahiri and Yogendrabhai Desai welcomed him in the temple.

The priest of the temple presented sandalwood paste and a stole to Ambani. In September last year, Mukesh Ambani visited the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh and made an offering of Rs 1.5 crore. He was accompanied by his son Anant’s fiancee Radhika Merchant and Reliance Retail Limited director Manoj Modi.

Temple committee presented a picture of Jyotirlinga to Ambani

After the puja, Akash Ambani was garlanded with a Rudraksh garland by the priest as a blessing of Lord Shankar. At the same time, the picture of Sarnath Jyotirlinga was given to Mukesh Ambani and his son Akash on behalf of the temple committee. Mostly silver utensils were used for this special worship ritual.
