Mumbai: Unknown caller informs Mumbai Police as Lawrence Bishnoi’s man to carry out ‘major incident’

Mumbai: On Saturday, The Mumbai Police said that they had received a threat call from an unknown person. They added that unknown person claimed ganster Lawrence Bishnoi's man was going to carry out a major incident in Mumbai.

Mumbai: On Saturday, The Mumbai Police said that they had received a threat call from an unknown person. They added that unknown person claimed ganster Lawrence Bishnoi’s man was going to carry out a major incident in Mumbai.

Giving details about this incident, Mumbai Police said that the unknown caller claimed that Lawrence Bishnoi’s man is going to come to Mumbai and carry out a major incident. It is worth noting that this call was first picked up by the Mumbai Police Control Room, after which the local police station was contacted about the incident.

Mumbai Police said, “After the call, Mumbai Police Control contacted the local police station.” Meanwhile, in other news, a 20-year-old youth has been detained on Friday for booking a cab in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s house.

According to Mumbai Police, the accused has been identified as Rohit Tyagi, who hails from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. Sharing information about the incident, the police said that the accused had booked a cab from Salman Khan’s house Galaxy Apartment to Bandra Police Station in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi.

Police said, “When the cab driver reached Salman Khan’s house Galaxy Apartment and asked the watchman there about the booking, the watchman was shocked at first and immediately informed the nearby Bandra Police Station about the booking.”

Acting on this, Mumbai’s Bandra Police interrogated the cab driver and obtained information about the person who booked the cab online. During the investigation, Police further said that it was found that the accused had booked the cab in the name of gangster Lawrence. Bishnoi was told all this as a prank.

After this, the police registered a case against the accused and arrested him from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. After that he was brought to Mumbai and produced in the court, after which he was sent to the custody of Bandra Police for two days.
