NEET-UG Row: ‘Need for Reform in NTA, Culprits will not be Spared’, Says Education Minister

On the NEET issue, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has shown strictness and said that the culprits will not be spared. Dharmendra Pradhan has assured the students that whoever is found involved in this crime will be arrested. Action will be taken against him. Also, the Education Minister has expressed concern over the need for reforms in NTA.

Irregularities found at two places

The Education Minister said that on the recommendation of the Supreme Court, re-examination of 1,563 candidates has been ordered. Some irregularities have come to light at two places. I assure students and parents that the government has taken this seriously.

Understanding the seriousness of the matter, Pradhan has assured the students that if any officer is found involved in this, he will also not be spared. He said that even if senior officers of NTA are found guilty, they will not be spared. NTA needs a lot of improvement. The government is worried about this, no culprit will be spared, they will get the harshest punishment.

Earlier, taking the matter seriously, the Education Minister had also talked to some students who appeared in the NEET exam and their parents. Pradhan had assured the students that all their concerns would be addressed fairly and equitably.

The Education Minister had written in a post on Twitter that the Central Government is committed to protecting the interests of NEET candidates. I want to assure the students that all their concerns will be addressed with fairness and equality.
