Jharsuguda: A major road accident has been reported on National Highway No. 10 on Wednesday midnight. Here two trucks went out of control and collided with each other behind and in front of a highway. After the accident, all the three vehicles got burnt due to short circuit and the drivers of all the three vehicles sitting inside could not get out.

The result was that all the three truck drivers riding in the vehicles were burnt alive. On receiving the information, the fire brigade reached the spot. Three fire engines were deployed to douse the fire. After getting the information, Sadar police station reached the spot and started investigation.

The negligence of the drivers cost each other’s lives
In the morning, the bodies of three drivers were taken out by taking three vehicles to the side of the road with the help of a crane. The reason for these horrific road accidents is being said to be the high speed of the vehicles and careless driving of the drivers.

In this regard, Jharsuguda Zonal Transport Officer Dinabandhu Sundi said that in the preliminary investigation, it is coming to the fore that due to overtaking of the two tankers, one hit the other from behind, due to which the fire broke out. That’s why a 16 wheeler coal laden truck coming from the front also collided with it.

The three dead divers include Vikram Yadav of Chhattisgarh, Supin Barah of Angul and Guddu Sahu of Gandhi Chowk. On the other hand, the helper who narrowly survived the accident is Durga Kisan of Devgarh.
