Pakistan/Gilgit-Baltistan: A bus carrying tourists fell off a highway into a gorge in Diamer district of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir’s Gilgit-Baltistan. At least 12 people and and 10 others were injured were killed in a devastating accident on Sunday, according to rescue officials.

Police and rescue teams are working vigorously to take the injured and dead people to hospitals for treatment and post-mortem, reports Geo News. At the same time, more information is awaited on this news.

Let us tell you that, earlier this month, 5 tourists were killed and 13 were injured in two separate accidents in Hunza area of ​​Gilgit-Baltistan, in one of which a van fell into a gorge. According to Dawn reports, the second incident involved a vehicle hitting a mountain.

Last month, at least 13 people were killed while several others were injured after a bus overturned in Pakistan’s Punjab province. The bus was travelling from Lahore to Rawalpindi when it overturned near Kallar Kahar salt range.

At least eight people, including two children, were also killed in a similar accident in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa district last month.
