PM Modi Criticizes Congress Over Law and Order, Alleges Appeasement Policy

Rajasthan: In his recent address at a rally in Bharatpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a strong critique against the Congress government in Rajasthan. His remarks primarily focused on the party’s governance record, particularly in relation to law and order, crimes, and riots in the state.

Accusation of Governance Failures: PM Modi accused the Congress government of leading Rajasthan to the top in terms of crimes, riots, and corruption during its five-year tenure. He argued that while India is making progress on the global stage, the state has faced challenges under Congress rule.

Taunt Directed at Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot: The Prime Minister took a dig at Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, using the term “jadugar” (magician) to describe him. This taunt was accompanied by a prediction that the Congress party would face defeat in the upcoming elections on December 3. Modi referenced Gehlot’s background as the son of a professional magician before entering politics.

Appeasement Policy Criticism: PM Modi accused the Congress of implementing a policy of appeasement, alleging that this approach gave a free hand to criminal elements. He asserted that wherever the Congress came to power, there was a tendency for terrorists, criminals, and rioters to be let loose.

Law and Order Deterioration: The Prime Minister highlighted the deteriorating law and order situation in Rajasthan under Congress rule. He mentioned an increase in crimes against women and Dalits, and he criticized the government for the disruption of peaceful celebrations during festivals like Holi, Ram Navami, and Hanuman Jayanti.

Shattering Confidence of Women: PM Modi accused the Congress of shattering the confidence of women in Rajasthan. He specifically targeted Chief Minister Gehlot for suggesting that women file fake rape cases and questioned Gehlot’s ability to protect women.

Appeal to Voters: The Prime Minister concluded by appealing to the people of Rajasthan not to vote for the Congress party. He asserted that the state needed a change and urged voters to reject the Congress in the upcoming elections.

PM Modi’s address underscored his concerns about the governance, law and order, and social harmony under the Congress government in Rajasthan, framing it as a compelling reason for voters to consider a change in leadership.
