New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm greetings to the people of Jharkhand on the state’s formation day, highlighting its rich heritage of tribal bravery, valour, and pride, as well as its abundant mineral wealth.
Expressing pride in the significant contributions made by his family members from Jharkhand to the country’s progress, PM Modi wished the state a bright future on this occasion.
Prime Minister Modi, who arrived in Jharkhand on Tuesday evening, is scheduled to launch a ₹24,000-crore scheme aimed at the welfare of particularly vulnerable tribal groups on Wednesday.
The scheme’s launch coincides with the birth anniversary of revered tribal warrior Birsa Munda, celebrated as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas. Paying tribute to this iconic personality, PM Modi expressed his reverence in a post on X.
