PM Modi pauses his convoy to let ambulance pass during roadshow in Varanasi

Varanasi: In an exemplary gesture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy stopped to give way to an ambulance during his roadshow in Varanasi. The gesture, captured in the video, is not an isolated incident for PM Modi, who has consistently prioritized public welfare over VIP privileges.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, known for his stance against VIP culture, has a history of disrupting his schedule to accommodate medical emergencies. In 2019, he interrupted his speech to call an ambulance for a cameraman who had fainted. His convoy has also made way for ambulances in Ahmedabad and Kangra in Himachal Pradesh in the past.

A Two-Day Visit to Varanasi
The incident occurred during PM Modi’s two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. He is scheduled to inaugurate and launch 37 development projects worth over Rs 19,000 crore. These initiatives aim to strengthen Varanasi and the wider Purvanchal region by touching diverse sectors such as road and bridge construction, health, education, police welfare, smart city and urban development projects, railways and airports.

PM Modi will also launch the second edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam, a cultural exchange program between Tamil Nadu and Kashi, which will include art and music exhibitions and other special products. Additionally, he will launch a new train service connecting Kanyakumari to Varanasi, further enhancing the connectivity of his constituency.
