PM Modi Set to Unveil Over 14,000 Projects Valued at ₹10 Lakh Crore in Uttar Pradesh Today

Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch over 14,000 projects worth ₹10 lakh crore in Uttar Pradesh today, marking the fourth ground-breaking ceremony of UP Global Investors Summit 2023. These projects span various sectors, including manufacturing, renewable energy, IT and ITeS, food processing, housing, real estate, hospitality, entertainment, and education. The event is expected to witness the participation of industry leaders, ministers, and delegates, highlighting the economic development initiatives in the state.

Key Highlights and Schedule

Temple Foundation Stone: PM Modi will first visit Sambhal to lay the foundation stone of the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal district. The temple is being constructed by the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, chaired by Acharya Pramod Krishnam.

Project Launches: The groundbreaking ceremony will witness the launch of approximately 300 proposals from the MSME and exports promotion department, involving an investment of about ₹45,000 crore. Additionally, around 60 proposals from the IT and electronics department with an investment of ₹62,000 crore and 750 projects from the housing department with an investment of about ₹57,000 crore will be implemented.

Major Projects: Some significant projects include Ashok Leyland’s electric vehicle manufacturing unit, set to be established on the land of the now-under-closure Scooters India Limited in Lucknow.

City-Specific Projects: PM Modi will launch projects worth ₹10,155.79 crores for Ayodhya, ₹13,486.63 crores for Mathura, and ₹15,313.81 crores for Varanasi, his Lok Sabha constituency.

PM’s Schedule:

The day begins with the launch of the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal.
The temple inauguration will include the participation of saints, religious leaders, and dignitaries.

The Prime Minister then proceeds to Lucknow for the ground-breaking ceremony.
The event includes the inauguration of an exhibition showcasing various initiatives.
The main ceremony begins at around 1:30 pm, attended by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other dignitaries.

PM Modi digitally launches the projects during the ceremony.
