In an endeavor to prioritize employment generation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to distribute approximately 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited personnel across various government departments. This significant event, known as the ‘Rozgar Mela,’ will be conducted at 46 different locations throughout the country, as announced by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

These newly appointed individuals are poised to contribute their skills and expertise to a range of pivotal ministries and departments. These include the Department of Posts, the Indian Audit & Accounts Department, the Department of Atomic Energy, the Department of Revenue, the Department of Higher Education, as well as the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, among several others.

The ‘Rozgar Mela’ stands as a pivotal initiative, aligning with the Prime Minister’s steadfast dedication to fostering employment opportunities. It is expected to have a lasting impact, acting as a catalyst for the creation of additional job prospects. This event not only provides significant opportunities for the empowerment of the youth but also encourages their active engagement in the nation’s development.

Moreover, the recently onboarded appointees will have the opportunity to enrich their skills via Karmayogi Prarambh, an online learning module accessible through the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This innovative platform offers access to a comprehensive library of more than 680 e-learning courses, facilitating flexible and convenient learning experiences from virtually any location, using a wide range of devices.
