Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch an array of development projects worth Rs 6,800 crores in Telangana’s Sangareddy today . These projects span various sectors crucial for the state’s growth, including road, rail, petroleum, and natural gas.
The Prime Minister will kick off his Telangana visit by visiting the renowned Ujjaini Mahakali Temple in Sikandarabad. From there, he will proceed to the General Bazaar in Sikandarabad to perform special prayers and rituals at the temple. Modi will offer a silk saree and other offerings to the deity before heading to Begumpet Airport via road.
At Begumpet Airport, PM Modi will inaugurate the Civil Aviation Research Organization (CARO) center. The CARO center, established by the Airports Authority of India, aims to elevate Research and Development (R&D) activities in the civil aviation sector. This advanced facility, constructed at a cost exceeding Rs 350 crores, adheres to 5-STAR-GRIHA Rating and Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) norms.
In Sangareddy, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several critical projects. This includes the inauguration of three National Highway projects:
Four-Laning of Kandi to Ramsanpalle Section (NH-161): A crucial part of the Indore-Hyderabad Economic Corridor, enhancing passenger and freight movement between Telangana, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh.
Upgradation of Miryalaguda to Kodad Section (NH-167): Enhancing connectivity to boost tourism and economic activity.
Six-Laning of Pune-Hyderabad Section (NH-65): Providing improved connectivity to major industrial centers like Pashamylaram industrial area.
Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate the doubling and electrification of the Sanathnagar – Moula Ali rail line, benefiting passengers with improved punctuality and speed. He will also flag off the inaugural MMTS Train Service from Ghatkesar – Lingampalli via Moula Ali – Sanathnagar, extending suburban train services to new areas.
Moreover, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Indian Oil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline, a 1212 km pipeline ensuring safe transportation of petroleum products across Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
The visit aims to bolster Telangana’s infrastructure and accelerate growth across various sectors, promising significant benefits for the state’s development. Accompanying PM Modi on his journey will be Telangana State BJP President and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, local MPs, Rajya Sabha member Dr. K. Laxman, and senior party members.
