The projects encompass national highway initiatives exceeding Rs 18,000 crore, including the inauguration of a six-lane bridge over the Ganga.
Subsequently, in Begusarai, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation for projects worth more than Rs 13,400 crore.
Key projects in Begusarai include the revival of the Hindustan Urvarak Rasayan Limited (HURL) fertilizer factory in Barauni, costing Rs 9,500 crore.
The launch will also involve groundwork for the Rs 11,400-crore expansion of the Barauni Refinery.
PM Modi will extend the launch to oil and gas sector projects in Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Punjab, and Karnataka, including the KG Basin.
The dedication of the ‘first oil’ from the KG Basin and the launch of the first crude oil vessel from the ONGC Krishna Godavari deepwater project are anticipated.
Under the Namami Gange initiative, the Prime Minister will kickstart 12 projects worth over Rs 2,190 crore. This includes wastewater treatment plants at strategic locations.
The groundwork for Patna’s Unity Mall, supporting the ‘One District, One Product’ initiative, is also on the agenda.
NDA heavyweights, including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, are expected to attend both programs.
Stringent security measures have been implemented in Aurangabad and Begusarai ahead of PM Modi’s visit.
This comprehensive initiative underscores the commitment to enhancing Bihar’s infrastructure, fostering economic growth, and strengthening the oil and gas sectors across multiple states.
