New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will start his tour of four states from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Will reach Raipur at 10.45 am where he is going to address a public meeting at Science College. PM’s meeting has been named Vijay Sankalp Jan Sabha. During this, the PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth about Rs 7600 crore.
This is the first visit of Prime Minister Modi to the Congress-ruled state of Chhattisgarh after becoming the PM of the country for the second time. Assembly elections are to be held in Chhattisgarh at the end of this year. After being in power for 15 years, the BJP was thrown out of power in Chhattisgarh in the 2018 assembly elections, after which the Congress government was formed here.
Prime Minister Modi will stay in Raipur for about 2 hours, after which he will leave from Raipur for Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh at 12:40. PM is going to start the battle of Lok Sabha elections by doing programs in Varanasi and Gorakhpur. Purvanchal is once again at the center of BJP’s strategy, for which BJP has put all its efforts. PM is going to visit Gorakhpur and Varanasi today to win the battle of 2024.
PM Modi will reach Gorakhpur in UP from Raipur at around 2.30 pm and will participate in the closing ceremony of Geeta Press centenary celebrations in Gorakhpur in the afternoon. After the program, PM will address a public meeting. After which Prime Minister Modi will also flag off the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express at around 3.40 pm.
After the program in Gorakhpur, the Prime Minister will reach his parliamentary constituency Varanasi like a parliament. Here he will inaugurate a total of 18 projects and lay the foundation stone of 9 projects and PM Modi will give a gift of Rs 12110.24 crore to the people of Purvanchal. Then the next day the Prime Minister will also worship at Baba Vishwanath Dham.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is eyeing to increase its penetration in Purvanchal. The threat of these programs to be held today in Gorakhpur and Varanasi is certainly going to be heard in Bihar and to some extent in Jharkhand.
