Paris: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi France Visit) has reached France on a 2-day tour on Thursday. He has been invited as the chief guest on France’s National Day i.e. Bastille Day. PM Modi reached Paris at 4 pm on Thursday. He was formally received by French Prime Minister Elizabeth Borne at Orly Airport.
After the ceremonial welcome, PM Modi met French ministers and leaders. After reaching France, PM Modi will address the diaspora at La CN Musicale in Ris. La CN Musicale is currently hosting the Festival of India, Namaste France, on behalf of the Indian Embassy and the Ministry of Culture.
After addressing the overseas Indians, PM Modi will go to French President Emmanuel Macron’s official residence LC Palace. Where Macron has kept a private dinner for him. During this, there will also be bilateral talks between the two leaders.
This visit of PM Modi is taking place at a time when India-France strategic partnership has completed 25 years. Before PM Modi, in 2009, Manmohan Singh became the first Prime Minister of India, who was invited to be the chief guest of Bastille Day.
Today’s schedule of PM Modi in France: –
-PM Modi will reach the Senate at around 7:30 pm Indian time and will meet Senate President Gerad Larcher. PM Modi will have a meeting with French Prime Minister Elizabeth Borne at around 8:45 pm.
-PM Modi will address a program of the Indian community at the prestigious La Seine musical at around 11 pm.
-Late at 12:30 pm, Prime Minister Modi will reach the Elysee Palace for a private dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.

PM Modi will visit Abu Dhabi on July 15 after finishing his visit to France. The Prime Minister will hold talks with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership continues to grow stronger. This visit of PM will provide an opportunity to identify means to take it forward in various sectors like energy, education, health care, food security, fintech, defense and culture.
