Promptly responding to the Prime Minister’s guidance, party workers diligently tidied up the lane and surrounding areas, successfully upholding Indore’s status as the cleanest city in the country.
Indore has clinched the title of the cleanest city for the sixth consecutive time in 2022 under the Swachh Survekshan Awards conducted by the Union government. The city’s efficient processing of 1,900 tons of urban waste daily, generating significant revenue and fueling its buses, contributed to this achievement. Indore’s unique approach involves segregating garbage into six categories at collection points.
During his election meetings in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, PM Modi rode an open chariot through Indore, covering various assembly constituencies. The chariot, moving within a dedicated saffron corridor, symbolized a vibrant political campaign in the city.
Madhya Pradesh is set to go to polls on November 17, with the counting of votes scheduled for December 3.
