PM Modi’s Vision: Amit Shah Highlights India’s Development Goals by 2047

Union Home Minister Amit Shah underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to transforming India into a developed country by 2047 during a Karyakarta Sammelan in Jaipur. Shah also addressed the focus of the INDI alliance on nurturing the political careers of party leaders’ heirs.

In his speech, Shah emphasized, “PM Modi has set a target for India to become the most developed country globally by 2047. The last decade has laid the foundation for this development, aligning with the Modi government’s primary goal of national progress. Conversely, the INDI alliance seems geared towards promoting the political aspirations of party leaders’ heirs.”

Amit Shah further delved into the BJP’s vision of “Sarvapratham Bharat” (India First) and contrasted it with the INDI alliance’s tendencies, citing examples like Sonia Gandhi’s backing of Rahul Gandhi, Lalu Yadav’s aspirations for Tejashwi Yadav, Uddhav Thackrey’s ambitions for his son, and MK Stalin’s support for his son’s political rise.

Listing the achievements of the Modi government, Shah highlighted the implementation of the One Rank One Pension scheme, the abrogation of Article 370, and the revitalization of cinema halls in Jammu and Kashmir after 30 years. He praised the government’s response to security challenges, such as the Pulwama and Uri incidents.

Shah identified four detrimental elements affecting the country – nepotism, corruption, appeasement, and casteism – and asserted that PM Modi has effectively addressed these issues in the past decade.

He touched upon the government’s initiatives, including the introduction of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), abolition of Triple Talaq, implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttarakhand, and the successful management of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign.

Amit Shah also took a dig at the previous government, stating that under PM Manmohan Singh, acts of terror went unanswered for 10 years. He highlighted India’s strong response through surgical strikes and airstrikes after the Poonch and Pulwama attacks during the Modi government’s tenure.

Concluding his speech, Shah compared the work ethic of PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi, emphasizing Modi’s dedication by not taking a leave in the last 23 years. He also highlighted the government’s social welfare initiatives, providing free food grain, sanitary facilities, LPG connections, and free medical facilities to millions of citizens.
