Politician Sonia Gandhi hospitalised to Delhi hospital due to mild fever; Doctor says, currently stable

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital due to mild fever on Sunday. She has been kept under the observation of doctors and her condition is stable now. Earlier she was admitted due to respiratory infection.

New Delhi: Veteran Indian politician and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital due to mild fever on Sunday. She has been kept under the observation of doctors and her condition is stable now, treating doctor stated. Earlier she was admitted due to respiratory infection.

Recently she met YSR Telangana Party president YS Sharmila. Their meeting came at a time when there were discussions regarding the merger of Sharmila’s party with the Congress. The former Congress president’s last public appearance was at the opposition bloc INDIA meeting held in Mumbai on August 31-September 1.

Earlier, the Congress leader was admitted to the hospital for treatment of a viral respiratory infection. The former Congress president’s recent appearance was at the opposition alliance I.N.D.I.A meeting held in Mumbai on September 1.
