The BJP’s state president met MLA Manoj and Aditi Singh in Rae Bareli as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s presence in the Congress stronghold. Talks centered around various issues.
During the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP is actively working to increase its influence in Rae Bareli, traditionally a stronghold of the Congress. State President Bhupendra Chaudhary visited BJP candidate Dinesh Pratap Singh’s residence to address concerns among upset MLAs.
Starting with a meeting at the party office, Chaudhary then visited Sadar MLA Aditi Singh at her Lalupur residence. They discussed matters for about an hour. Following this, Chaudhary, along with officials and party workers, went to Unchahar MLA Dr. Manoj Pandey’s house at Gorabazar, engaging in another hour-long discussion.
Chaudhary reportedly spent significant time privately with Dr. Manoj Pandey. Discussions continued late into the night, with Dr. Pandey staying over. Chaudhary explained that his main purpose was to persuade both MLAs to contest the elections.
During the party office meeting, Chaudhary urged workers to actively participate in the elections and increase voter turnout through public engagement.
MLA Aditi Singh described her meeting with the state president as a courtesy call where important matters were discussed. District President Buddhi Lal Pasi highlighted Chaudhary’s visit as a morale booster for party workers, emphasizing the importance of winning the election with the support of both MLAs.
