Jharkhand:Continuing his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited the sacred Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple in Deoghar, Jharkhand. The Yatra, which commenced in Manipur on January 14 and entered Jharkhand from West Bengal, is a significant journey covering 6,713 km across 15 states. After a night halt in Pakur, the Yatra resumed from Godda district, with Gandhi offering prayers at the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Following the temple visit, Rahul Gandhi led a roadshow in Godda district and addressed a public meeting. The Yatra is scheduled to proceed to Dhanbad, where participants will camp for the night at Halkata in Tundi block.
The extensive Yatra spans 804 km across 13 districts of Jharkhand over eight days in two phases. The overarching journey covers 110 districts in 15 states and is set to culminate in Mumbai on March 20. Rahul Gandhi’s engagement with diverse regions underscores the Yatra’s aim to connect with the people, promoting national unity and justice.
